Welcome to Trafficrules/ High way code (færdselsregler in danish)

As a foreigner in Denmark there are so many things, that need to be done about driving licence ( drivers licence), how to act in the traffic and how to register a car properly.

You might recognize : ombytning af kørekort – kontrollerende prøve – teoriprøve og køreprøve.
The penalties in danish can be “klip i kørekort” , betinget frakendelse , ubetinget frakendelse, kørselsforbud and of course also ” Bøde”

as new words in danish, that you have to understand rather quick in Denmark.

I will try to catch up on these topics , along with other things related to driving and traffic issues in Denmark.

During the last  years ( from may 2006)  the trouble has increased because of new EU rules .

In the forum we hope that we can answer most questions about that.
